Accredited courses in First Aid and CPR 

HLTAID011 Provide First Aid (full day)  

This course incorporates the morning CPR session.

This practical workshop incorporates several scenarios that will assess your competence for managing:

  • Bleeding and chest pain
  • Fractures and snakebites
  • Asthma and anaphylaxis

Following the practical component, a written assessment with 100% mastery is also required to be deemed competent in providing CPR and first aid.

HLTAID009 Provide CPR (half day)  

Essential to any first aid situation where the casualty is not breathing is the ability to provide effective CPR.

This practical workshop will assess your competence in knowledge and skills for providing effective CPR as per the guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC).

You will show competency through a practical demonstration of CPR on both an adult and infant manikin, performed on the floor.

Following the practical component, a written assessment with 100% mastery is also required to be deemed competent in providing effective CPR. There is also an online pre-assessment you need to complete before the day.
